"I
have been fishing with Captain Dave for around 7 years now. I
have fished with other guides out in the Mosquito Lagoon but not
since I met Dave. We always have a great time. Over the years
I have caught over 50 slobberknockers including a 50 pound monster
this year. My wife also caught a 48 inch monster herself. Check
out the photo galleries, and you will see my pictures over the
years. Captain Dave is a great guide with excellent skills at
seeing the fish and knowing what they are doing. Over the years
he has become a good friend, and I would highly recommend him
if you are looking for a great guide with a good personality who
is great with kids and wives. If you want to catch that slobberknocker
give him a call. You won't be sorry."
Thanks--Doug
Hi
David;
I just wanted to thank you for an outstanding trip on the
17th! You are a true professional, and I will fish with you from
now on. The aching arms on the way home felt really good! My wife
thought that you may have cured my Redfish passion but, you have
indeed created a monster. I understand business and I will personally
try and get some of these leftcoasters over there to fish with
you. I would appreciate any photos, and if you have any ideas
on how to drum up some more business for you, let me know, I'll
be glad to assist you in any way I can.
Keep 'em bent,

Welcome
to AAA Hawgwild Saltwater Charters! I am Captain David Rogers
and I really appreciate you visiting the site. My goal is to provide
you with an awesome adventure and a lot of fun when we hit the
waters of the Mosquito Lagoon and Indian River Lagoon. Growing
up as native Floridian fishing is one of my first memories. Fishing
is my passion, and I always get a thrill when I see others catch
fish. Growing up in the Orlando area I spent time surf fishing
as well as fishing the many lakes of Central Florida. After fishing
bass tournaments for 15 years I tried flats fishing. Once I landed
my first redfish it was all over. I love fishing the flats! I
have 13 years experience fishing on the Mosquito Lagoon and Indian
River, and I would like to share the flats experience with you.
I have equipped myself with the finest flats boat on the market,
a Hell’s Bay Guide 18. This amazing boat can pole in 5 inches
of water, and therefore it is able to fish areas many other boats
can’t fish. Some of the bay boats are simply too large to
get this shallow. The boat is quiet and clean. Using only finest
rods and reels is a necessity. I am sponsored by Karma Rods, and
there is not a better rod out there. I am also sponsored by Quantum
reels which are spooled with Power Pro line. It is one awesome
combination. I use only the best because I believe you get what
you pay for, and I believe in hard work. My dad taught me that
if you work hard good things will happen.
I have had the opportunity to work with talented professionals
in the fishing industry, and I am always trying gain more knowledge
and expertise each day. I also write for Onshore-offshore Magazine
and the Sanford Herald. You will often find me conducting fishing
seminars at Gander Mountain in Lake Mary, being a guest host on
Onshore-Offshore radio, and filming an occasional television show
with the “Reel Animals” out of Tampa. I have been
on the Rip Tide Saltwater Lures Pro Staff for 6 years and Daiichi
hooks for 4 years. They are all outstanding products that provide
optimum performance. I enjoy talking to others and sharing fishing
stories, always learning from one another. Fishing is a great
way to relax and enjoy nature.
I hope that you will check out the site and please provide feedback.
I have some very impressive photos, testimonials, and fishing
reports. If I can be of assistance in any manner please feel free
to call or e-mail.
Tight Lines and Good Fishing!
